These attributes are essential for efficient injection and long-term storage of captured carbon dioxide (CO2).
The operation begins with an initial Class II stratigraphic test well after extensive reservoir modeling was completed, with drilling scheduled to begin in mid-2023.
Designed to Class VI standards, the well will undergo various tests, including coring and wireline evaluation. The well was designed as both a stratigraphic and injection well, initially permitted as a Class II well that could later be converted into a Class VI injection or monitoring well as the project advances.
